Show: Global Leadership Conference
Location: The Broadmoor Resort, Colorado Springs, CO
Initiative: Entertain an audience of mostly male executive level management primarily from Germany and the U.S. The evening must be a luxurious send-off after a week's worth of meetings and presentations. The production must integrate corporate catchphrases and Bayer products (especially aspirin!).
Solution: Hot On Broadway produced a 90-minute Broadway show, complete with a cast of 15 performers and a 16-piece orchestra onstage. To appeal to every segment of the audience, we combined modern and classic Broadway songs from such shows as Jersey Boys, The Phantom of the Opera, 42nd Street,Les Miserables, and Mamma Mia. Using state-of-the-art projection equipment imported from Germany, we incorporated a uniquely designed logo montage of Broadway images and video. In customizing numbers including “All That Jazz,” we incorporated Bayer products into the lyrics and choreography, with live display on IMAG video.
Results: A smashing success! The production culminated in Elton John’s “Circle of Life” from The Lion King, as Bayer logos and corporate video played on overhead screens. The message of global unity was highlighted and successfully conveyed to the entire audience in an unforgettable moment of corporate team effort. When the Chairman took the stage for the finale, he raved to the audience, “With excellent singers, excellent dancers, excellent actors, an excellent orchestra, I hope you join me in saying this was an unforgettable night!” The cast meet-and-greet reception and photo sessions lasted longer than the 90-minute performance.
